市场势力(market power)是指一定时期内将价格维持在边际成本以上的能力,具体表现为一种加成能力(Mark-up)。市场势力作为企业的一种重要功能,是企业市场地位的集中体现。不同于国内已有的对中国垄断产业市场势力与福利损失的研究,本文运用经修正后的Goldberg & Knetter模型对我国摩托车出口的国际市场势力进行了实证测度,选取了美国、尼日利亚、印尼、德国、阿根延五个主要市场进行研究,发现我国摩托车在这五个主要市场的市场势力均不明显。文章分析了市场势力缺失的原因,并提出了相应的对策建议。
Market power refers to the ability to maintain prices above the marginal cost for a given period of time, in particular as a Mark-up. As an important function of an enterprise, market power is a concentrated expression of the market position of an enterprise. Different from the existing studies on the market forces and welfare losses in the monopoly industries in China, this paper uses the modified Goldberg & Knetter model to test the international market forces of China’s motorcycle exports. We choose the United States, Nigeria, Indonesia, Germany, Argentina, Yan five main markets for research and found that our motorcycle market forces in these five major markets are not obvious. The article analyzes the reasons for the lack of market power and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
