Objective To investigate the relationship between the levels of serum uric acid (SUA) and lipoprotein-a (Lp (a)) and the severity of coronary artery disease. Methods Totally 224 patients were divided into coronary heart disease group (121 cases) and normal control group (103 cases) according to the results of selective coronary angiography (CAG). The coronary heart disease group was divided into 2 groups according to the Gensini score system. The Gensini score <30 points and 66 cases Coronary heart disease group A, Gensini score ≥30 points 55 cases of coronary heart disease group B; then according to coronary artery lesions were divided into single-vessel disease group 46 cases, double-vessel disease group 46 cases, multivessel disease group 29 cases. The levels of SUA and Lp (a) were measured respectively, and their correlations with the severity of coronary heart disease and coronary artery disease were analyzed. Results The levels of SUA and Lp (a) in CHD group were significantly higher than those in control group. The levels of SUA and Lp (a) in CHD group were significantly higher than those in CHD group A, double-vessel disease group and multi-vessel disease group The higher the number of coronary lesions, the higher the levels of SUA and Lp (a). There was no significant difference in the levels of SUA and Lp (a) between the single lesion group and the control group (P> 0.05). The correlation coefficient between SUA and Gensini score was 0.451, and the correlation coefficient between Lp (a) and Gensini score was 0.413. Conclusions The levels of SUA and Lp (a) in coronary heart disease group are higher than those in normal control group, and the levels of SUA and Lp (a) in coronary heart disease patients are positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease.
