儿童美术是儿童的心智和心绪的自然流露,是人类参加艺术活动的初级艺术创造,是人类从事艺术活动的一个特殊阶段。它伴随着儿童成长,反映儿童的天性,表现儿童的思维活动,是儿章用于表达思想感情的特殊视觉语言。 过去,人们总是以发展的,过渡的、未来的模式对待儿童美术,仅把儿童美术视为向成人美术过渡的一个阶段,很少有人看到儿童美术所具有的独特性。而这个问题作为儿童美术中的一个理论问题,又直接关系到对儿童美术教育的看法。 我国的美术教育从五十年代以来形成了一个学院教育的审美心理模式,简单地说,象还是不象。实际上,这只是整个艺术中的一部分,即写实的一部分,从上到下扩散在整个社会,人们也接受了,而这恰恰是单调的和缺乏“营养’的。我们知道,儿童从事美术活动的能力随着他们年龄的增长和身心各方面的发展与成熟而增强。这种进程呈现为若干阶段,每阶段中,儿童美术能力的诸方面又有渐次的提高。作为教育者应恰当指引儿童,使儿童在这个时期对待形象的认识和想象的能力稍作延长,不要早早地转化为一种咸人逻辑。儿童美术教育应该回到一个人的全面成长、一个人基本天性的发展层面上来,其他的社会功利目的都是次要的。 近年来,国家开始重视儿童美术教育工作,而且有较大的突破.但也存在不少?
