陕西省宝鸡市素有“青铜器之乡”的美誉,以其所出商周青铜器数量之巨、制作之精美、铭文涉及内容之广之重、持续时间之久,堪称全国之最。其中周原出土青铜器最为重要,加之周原地区在周族勃兴与西周王朝发展中的特殊地位,周原地区的考古工作在西周考古学研究乃至中国考古学研究中一直处于显要而前沿的位置,各项重大发现相继问世。与周原遗址相比,学术界对周原以西的岐山西部至宝鸡市区一带却关注较少,这与此区域在西周王朝发生和发展过程中的重要地位颇为不符。百余年来,这一区域亦有大量精美周代青铜器出土,其中不乏何尊、散氏盘、虢季子白盘、秦公钟、秦公镈等重器。而文献不载的~([1])国墓地以及久氏、散氏铜器也相继问世。这一区域通常被认为是西周王朝王畿区域的西部,是各族势力交融发展的杂处地带,也是西 Baoji City, Shaanxi Province is known as “Bronze Home ” reputation, with the number of its bronze ware giant, produced exquisite, inscription involves a wide range of content, the duration of a long time, 堪称 the country.
