世界头号军火商美国是目前世界上头号军火出口商,控制着全球军火交易的70％。美国的军火销往全球141个国家和地区,金额约在220亿至400亿美元之间。世界上正在进行着的地区冲突有50起,美国是其中45起冲突的重要武器供应者。美国军备控制和裁军署发表的年度报告也承认,美国向全世界出口的军火首次超过了所有其他军火出口国家的总和。
The United States, the world’s number one munitions broker, is currently the number one exporter of arms in the world and controls 70% of the global arms trade. The United States arms are sold in 141 countries and regions in the world, amounting to about 22 billion to 40 billion U.S. dollars. There are 50 ongoing regional conflicts in the world, with the United States as an important weapon supplier for 45 of these conflicts. The U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency’s annual report also acknowledged that the U.S. arms exports to the world for the first time exceeded the sum of all other arms exporting countries.
