Hydraulic system is widely used as actuator of AMT (Automated Mechanical Transmission),which consists of a hydraulic accumulator,electromagnetic valves,pipeline,hydraulic cylinders for gear shifting and clutch manipulating.In order to reduce gearshift time and improve its quality, a certain flow rate in hydraulic system is required, especially for heavy duty vehicle. To increase the flow rate of hydraulic system while keeping the size and weight of the system at minimum possible,a high order time dependent nonlinear state equation was built up for AMT’s hydraulic system using bond graph techniques for the first time.Many valuable conclusions were drawn through simulation.In practical application, the swiftness of gear shifiting was enhanced significantly, and the development lead-time of hydraulic system is also greatly reduced.
