Global trade rules have not kept up with the business trend - the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreement can quickly start the reforms. The United States and the EU will begin the third round of negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). Such an agreement has the potential to create a transatlantic market with 800 million of the world’s richest consumers. This will make it easier for businesses to sell and invest on both sides of the Atlantic. However, many worry that this is not a good sign for the World Trade Organization that has sought to provide a framework for multilateral trade in the past 70 years and often helps poorer nations get equal treatment with rich countries. Some European politicians want to suspend TTIP talks until the divisions between the NSA and Europeans are resolved. However, it seems unlikely that data security issues will interfere with TTIP negotiations. Both the EU and the U.S. government are pushing for an agreement as soon as possible
