英语课堂作为英语学习的主要场所,目的是培养学生的语言综合运用能力。课堂氛围与教学效果息息相关,积极活跃的课堂气氛,能激发学生的学习动机和参与性,也利于教师顺利开展教学工作。但是,在现在的高中英语课堂,沉默现象广泛存在。学生很少参与课堂互动,英语课堂变得死气沉沉,严重影响了教学效果。本文主要探讨学生在高中英语课堂上的沉默表现,调查课堂沉默的影响因素。目的在于改善课堂气氛,促进师生的互动交流,提高教学质量。
English classroom as the main venue for English learning, the purpose is to develop students’ ability to comprehensively use the language. The atmosphere of the classroom is closely related to the teaching effect. The positive and active classroom atmosphere can stimulate students ’motivation and participation in learning. It is also conducive to teachers’ smooth running of teaching. However, silence is widespread in the current high school English classroom. Students rarely participate in classroom interaction, the English classroom becomes lifeless, seriously affecting the teaching effectiveness. This article mainly discusses students’ silence performance in high school English classroom and investigates the influencing factors of classroom silence. The purpose is to improve classroom atmosphere, to promote the interaction between teachers and students, improve teaching quality.
