西地乡地处塞外山区,全乡有23个行政村、54个自然村,总人口17000人。我乡学前教育起步较晚,1988年前,全乡只有两个学前班,1989年以后,幼教事业得到迅速发展,1990年有24个学前班,在班幼儿400名,全乡6周岁儿童入班率为100%,5周岁儿童入班率为64%。怎样搞好农村幼教的管理,提高保教质量?我们的做法是: 一、加强幼儿教师队伍的管理和建设1.认真实行考核招聘制。1989年后,我们严格实行考核招聘制,对所有在岗幼儿教师和报名应聘的人员,除按上级规定的考试科目进行书面考核外,又对他们音乐(视唱、琴法)、美术(泥工、纸工、绘画)、舞蹈等方面的基本知识和技能,进行了认真的面试,最后择优录取,再从录取人员中择优招聘上岗试用,
