20世纪90年代以来,越南在中南部海域多次进行沉船勘探与发掘,打捞了从15世纪到18世纪的沉船5艘。这些沉船的出水与考古发掘,已引起国际学界的广泛关注。其中,金瓯沉船发现于1998年夏,是一艘在雍正年间(1723~1735)从中国广州开出的商船,沉没于金瓯角海域。金瓯沉船出水遗物有中国陶瓷器、锌条、康熙通宝钱币、衣物、船骨、金属制品、石质印章等。金瓯沉船的发现对探索清朝、河仙郑氏政权及南中国海海上交往都有特别价值。
Since the 1990s, Vietnam has conducted many exploration and excavation of wrecks in the central-southern sea area, salvage 5 wrecks from the 15th century to the 18th century. The watercraft and archeological excavations of these sunken ships have drawn wide attention from international academic circles. Among them, the shipwreck discovered in the summer of 1998 was a merchant ship emanated from Guangzhou, China, during the Yongzheng Reign (1723 ~ 1735) and was submerged in the waters of Cairo. Ca Mau sinkwaters relics of Chinese ceramics, zinc, Kangxi Tongbao coins, clothing, keel, metal products, such as stone seals. The discovery of the wreck of Ca Mau has a special value in exploring the regime of the Ching Dynasty and Ha-Sen Cheng and the maritime exchanges in the South China Sea.
