Objective: To investigate whether SNAP can reduce the sensitivity of cervical cancer HeLa cells to radiotherapy and provide a theoretical basis for its use as a radiosensitizer in clinic. Methods: Survivin expression in HeLa cells treated with 6 Gy X-ray irradiation was detected by flow cytometry (FCM). Results: The expression of Survivin in HeLa cells began to increase significantly (P <0.05) 12 h after irradiation with 6 Gy X-rays. After irradiated by 6 Gy X-ray, the apoptosis rate of SNAP-treated HeLa cells was 7.01% (P <0.05) at 12h and 11.93% (P <0.01) at 24h. Conclusion: SNAP can significantly reduce the expression of Survivin in cervical cancer HeLa cells, which can significantly improve the sensitivity of HeLa cells to X-rays and increase the apoptosis rate of HeLa cells.
