筑后川流域(久留米·乌栖地区),即山梨县甲府盆地,广岛县片山地方一带,自古以来就是日本血吸虫(以下简称日虫)三大流行区之一。日虫病有时合并癌肿,尤其是虫卵易寄生的肝脏,大肠部合并癌肿的报告较多,其两者的因果关系虽经各家学者进行种种研究,但至今还无明确的结论。最近,我们收集了合并日虫病的大肠癌29例,在论述研究结果的同时对有关日虫病与致 The Chikugo River basin (Kurume-Uji area), namely the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi Prefecture and the Katsushika region in Hiroshima Prefecture, has been one of the three most endemic areas of Schistosoma japonicum (hereinafter referred to as the Japanese worm) since ancient times. Although the causal relationship between the two has been studied by various scholars, no clear conclusion has been reached so far. Recently, we collected 29 cases of colorectal cancer involving Japanese worm disease.
