大学英语改革的关键因素是教师。目前,大学英语的发展方向是学术英语。大学英语教师需要在转型期间做适当的调整。学术英语是专门用途英语的一个分支,有别于通用英语。学术英语分为两类:通用学术英语和专门学术英语。二者教学对教师发展的要求有相同之处,也有不同的侧重。通用学术英语课程要求教师教学多方面的能力,尤其是教学法的更新;专门学术英语课程要求在此基础之上,还需教师具备一些相关专业基本知识。大学英语教师的发展需要教师内在的自我发展以及学校和学院的外在支持。
The key factor in college English reform is the teacher. At present, the development of college English is academic English. College English teachers need to make the appropriate adjustments during the transition. Academic English is a branch of specialized English, different from General English. Academic English is divided into two categories: General Academic English and Academic English. The two teaching requirements for teacher development are the same, but also have different focuses. General academic English courses require teachers to teach a wide range of capabilities, especially the update of pedagogy; special academic English course requirements based on this, teachers also need to have some basic knowledge of the relevant professional. The development of college English teachers requires teachers’ intrinsic self-development and external support from schools and colleges.
