As we all know, the Opium War that changed China’s fate came from the desire of Britain to open its trade to China. Tea is an incentive here. The British have coveted Chinese tea but suffered from limited trade and high prices. At that time, the British East India Company, which monopolized East Asian trade, wanted to take the seeds of Chinese tea and put it in the colonies of India for planting. However, the ban imposed by the Qing Dynasty was very severe. The East India Company had to sneak into the mainland inland provinces to steal. Although this move is ridiculous, you can not find an ordinary cock after all, and you should study the plants in depth and have the experience of gardeners and know how to save plant seeds. East India Company finally entrusted Scottish botanist Robert Fortune to take on this role.
