Dengue is a zoonotic disease endemic to the tropics and subtropics and one of the major infectious diseases in Guangdong Province. According to the data of epidemic situation of acute infectious diseases from 1978 to 1999 in Guangdong Province, taking the local population of dengue fever as the statistical object, the annual average population was used to calculate the incidence and mortality of dengue fever in Guangdong Province in the past years. ~ The incidence of dengue fever in 1999, a total of 7 epidemic, involving the year 18 years, 4-year interval. The number of cases per year ranged from 1 to 452,674 cases, with a morbidity of 0.002 to 789.94 per 100,000 and a mortality rate of 0 to 0.470 per 100,000; two pandemic occurrences, the first occurring in 1980 The rate was 789.94 per 100,000 and the second was in 1986 with an incidence rate of 188.71 per 100,000. The patients were mainly dengue fever with less dengue haemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome with lower mortality and mortality , Fluctuating between 0-0.470 per 100,000 and 0-0.81%. The incidence areas are concentrated in the southern and central regions, with the highest in Hainan Province (now Hainan Province), with a total of 596,600 cases in 1978-1987, followed by Zhanjiang The total number of cases from 1978 to 1999 were 29,384 cases, 26439 cases and 11,788 cases, respectively. The time distribution occurred in all months of the year and peaked from July to October, accounting for the annual number of cases Of the total incidence was 73.66% of the total, while the lowest incidence was in December and March, accounting for only 2.43% of the total number of cases in the whole year. The virus was repeatedly caused by D1 ~ D4 viruses and caused the epidemic alternately. Most of the years were caused by a single virus type only in 1991 and 1993 There are two types of virus mixed infection.
