中国戏曲自雅部衰落,花部兴起后,除了在音乐上由板式音乐变为曲牌连套外,剧本结构上也发生了巨大变化。甘肃影戏剧本体式从剧本整体结构到敷衍故事的内在形式上,比较接近梆子皮黄一类,但又保留了杂剧、传奇的一些特点,还夹有话本、说书等因素,有些剧本、特别是清初年代较早的本子,明显带有从曲牌联套向板腔体过渡或板腔体初兴时的历史风貌和特征。
