In this paper, 357 “zero-starting-point” international students from the Beijing Language and Culture University Chinese language learning college are used as samples. The test scores of the Chinese comprehensive courses are used as criteria to examine the situation of attendance by students in terms of gender, age, native language and geographical location, , Whether scholarship students, the level of education of students showed individual learning differences. The statistical results show that: (1) girls’ performance is better than that of boys in the semester test, and the difference is obvious; (2) the age factor has a slight influence, but it is not the main factor that causes the difference of learners’performance as a whole; (3) (4) Significant differences among learners in different regions; (5) The higher the attendance rate, the better students’ performance; (6) The scholarship students score less than the non-scholarship students (self-financed students); (7) Students’ education has little effect on academic performance.
