营造杉木嫁接种子园,普遍存在接株生长出现“偏冠”现象,不能形成正常树形,影响结实产量和建园效果。我场自一九七四年开始营建嫁接种子园以来,作了有关克服“偏冠”的嫁接方法试验。一九七六年用大砧、高部位、留轮枝片状芽接或皮下切接,对纠正偏冠有显著效果,基本上能克服“偏冠”现象。这两种接法,不但正冠率高,而且成活率高,生长快,接株平均高生长量达139厘米,接位径祖率生长量达45厘米,部分接株当年就开花结果(见下表)。
To create a fir grafted seed orchard, there is a widespread phenomenon of “partial crowns” in the growth of the accessions, and the normal tree shape can not be formed, affecting the yield and the garden effect.
