根据我国第五次人口普查的结果,2000年我国60岁以上的老年人口已经达到1.32亿,超过了总人口的10％,正式跨入了老龄社会。由此给经济、社会和意识形态等领域的发展带来了非常巨大的冲击和影响。在研究和制定我国国民经济和社会发展战略及厘定经济社会政策时,必须要认真研究老龄化的特点、发展趋势,充分考虑银发浪潮所提出的问题和挑战。
