籼稻与粳稻杂交F_1植株产生生物学强优势已被学者们证实.亚种间杂交F_1植株育性差、结实率不高也是植物育种工作者众所周知的遗传现象.如何提高结实率,是籼粳杂交育种和籼粳杂种优势利用研究的关键.近半个世纪以来,杂交育种技术在水稻育种方面的应用,远距离地引种和品种资源的交换,使目前分布在世界各地的育种材料、品系和品种的血统变得比较复杂.因此,亲本间的遗传差异可能是影响籼粳交F_1植株结实率高低的原因.
