在阐释我国体育学术期刊入选SCI重要意义的基础上,基于SCI的选刊标准分析我国体育学术期刊入选该系统的可行性.认为封闭内向的办刊理念、陈旧滞后的运行机制、语言文字水平的限制是我国体育学术期刊入选SCI的主要制约因素.提出我国体育学术期刊入选SCI的路径:在办刊定位上,集中优势“兵力”、突出刊物特色；在办刊内容上,以国际创新成果、国际编排惯例为标准；在办刊工具上,基于英文“质”、“量”的提升,加强网络化建设；在办刊理念上,至上而下立体式实施“主动出击”战略；在入选方法上,组建国际性编委会及审稿专家库.
