地质思维是地质工作者必须具有的、独特的思维方式,时空观是地质思维的重要方面。“构造地质学课程设计”以巢湖北部地区作为研究对象,分理论与实践两部分内容。理论部分重点解析两个方面:第一,地层的典型特征及其所代表的沉积环境、海平面变化、地壳的升降及构造运动的强弱;第二,单一构造现象的特征及成因机制,众多构造现象的综合解析。实践部分通过学生自己动手绘制该地区的图切剖面、构造纲要图、地质报告撰写强化对该地区地质过程的理解与认识。实践证明,以地质过程为教学中心的内容安排对于学生的地质思维时空观的形成具有较大帮助。
