武汉是我国工人阶级最早产生、工会组织最先成立、工人运动最具光荣传统的城市之一。1922年7月,在党的领导下成立了武汉工团联合会.这是我国最大最早的地方工会组织。1949年6月,武汉工会更名为武汉市总工会。目前,全市有基层工会组织8704个,专职工会干部3200多人,工会会员181.7万人。近年来,武汉市各级工会坚定不移地坚持走中国特色社会主义工会发展道路,全面贯彻“组织起来、切实维权”的工作方针,以创新的精神全力推进工会组建.以务实的态度不断强化工会维权,在推动武汉经济社会发展,促进和谐社会构建中发挥了积极作用。通过推动市人大制订颁布《武汉市工会条例》,召开全市工会工作会议,工会源头参与渠道得到加强:通过加强平等协商集体合同制度和职代会厂务公开制度,工会维权机制日趋完善,全市有5013家企业建立了平等协商和集体合同制度,有4114个单位建立了职工代表大会制度;坚持为职工办实事.建立了市区两级困难职工帮扶中心.通过开展职工重大疾病医疗互助行动.实施劳模特别救助行动,切实为职工解难事.工会组织的社会影响不断扩大;深入开展群众性经济技术创新活动和“创争”活动,有力促进了企业经济发展。
Wuhan was one of the earliest cities in China to have created the working class, the first to establish a trade union organization, and the most glorious tradition of the workers’ movement. July 1922, under the leadership of the party set up the Wuhan Industry Federation. This is the largest and earliest local trade union organization in our country. In 1949 June, Wuhan trade union changed its name to Wuhan City Federation of Trade Unions. At present, there are 8,704 grassroots trade unions in the city, over 3,200 full-time union cadres and 1,871,000 trade unionists. In recent years, the trade unions at all levels in Wuhan have firmly adhered to the road of development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and fully implemented the working principle of “organizing themselves and effectively safeguarding their rights”, and vigorously pushed forward the formation of trade unions in the spirit of innovation. In a pragmatic manner, constantly strengthening trade union rights protection has played an active role in promoting the economic and social development of Wuhan and promoting the construction of a harmonious society. Through the promotion of the Municipal People’s Congress to enact and promulgate the “Regulations on Trade Unions in Wuhan” and the work conference for trade unions in the whole city, the sources of trade unions ’participation in the channels have been strengthened. By strengthening the equal contractual collective bargaining system and the open system of factory workers’ affairs, trade union rights protection mechanisms are becoming more and more perfect, 5013 enterprises have established equal consultation and collective contract system, and 4114 units have set up a workers’ congress system; and they persist in doing practical work for their staff and workers. Established a two-level urban workers and staff help center. Through the medical staff major disease mutual aid operations. Implementation of special relief efforts model workers, and effectively solve the problems for workers. The social influence of trade unions has been constantly expanding. The in-depth development of mass economic and technological innovation activities and “Chuang-Chuan” activities have promoted the economic development of enterprises.
