The irises I produce are mostly 9-year-old calamus, a perennial plant of the wild species, belonging to the Araceae family and native to the waterfront of the creek. Three leaves of single stem, long petiole, leaves palmately divided, after the beginning of summer flowers, white flowers. Selection of land: Acorus calamus grows in luxuriant forests, in a deep mountain where Samyang is a 70% shade, and in stone crevices (as Shichangpu), preferably on humus and sandy soil. Where there is an acorus calamus, there are shrubs, no weeds, should be damp, avoid drought, so I have a legend when drawing calamus: “grape calamus, wear thick clothes, force to do, no sweat beads.” This (?) points out that the growth conditions required for Acorus calamus must be: wet forests with forests, fertile soil, and yang. Replanting and field management: I plant Acorus species transplanted from the mountainous area. First, open a 2.5-foot deep, 3-foot-long, and 2-foot-wide cellar, bury the fresh roots harvested in November in sandy soil that has already been cultivated, deepen one inch deep, and apply a small amount of pig fat as a base fertilizer. Take the top 2 feet high and back 1.5 feet
