It is well-known that high-fat foods are unhealthy. French researchers found through mouse experiments that when they eat high fat foods in their childhood they can affect the development of the brain’s “reward system” and make them grow up hard to change this habit. Researchers at the University of Bordeaux first insisted on feeding male rats with high-fat foods for 3 months from their weaning to adulthood. The rats were then divided into two groups. One group received injections of two doses of saline and one group received two doses of amphetamine one after another A stimulant that triggers the brain’s dopamine system. The researchers found that when compared with healthy mice, these mice grew more hungry for fatty foods and their junk food pleasure was greatly increased.
