作为中国翻译史上的第三次高潮,晚清翻译文学应以外国小说翻译最为繁荣,不仅规模庞大,而且影响深远。受晚清日语译才培养机制的影响,活跃于清末的日本文学译才在文本选择、译文体制、译语文体与翻译方法等方面既有沿袭,亦有突破,充分体现出中国翻译文学近代化过程中的诸种特性。
