在痴迷于用指标来评估管理水平的创业文化中,许多创始人难以回答这个与他们自己相关的关键问题。人们很容易倾向于用商业上的成功来衡量一个领导者。但即使是最成功的创始人,也知道天时地利和运气成分在其中发挥着多大的作用。用公司业绩这个商业底线来评估领导力,并不能帮助领导者进行自我提升。
In a startup culture obsessed with using metrics to assess management, many founders find it hard to answer this key issue of their own relevance. People tend to tend to measure a leader with business success. But even the most successful founders know how much time and fortune play a role. Evaluating leadership with the business bottom line of business performance does not help leaders improve themselves.
