美国SPRINT公司与江苏省邮电管理局就CHINANET江苏网合同签署仪式1996年1月29日在南京完成。江苏INTERNET网将成为目前全国最大的省级INTERNET接入网。该合同签署后,江苏将引进在省辖市分别安装的网络服务器、用户和信息服务器以及1个域名服务器(省邮电局)。INTERNET开通以后将会覆盖江苏所有地市,使江苏的各行各业就近进入INTERNET。 美国SPRINT公司从1991年起开始与江苏省邮电管理局合作,在江苏建立了全国第一个省级分组交换网。1994年建立了电子信箱、电子数据交换和存储转发传真的通信平台。目前在这一通信平台上已有5000多个用户。
US SPRINT company and Jiangsu Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Administration on CHINANET Jiangsu network contract signing ceremony January 29, 1996 in Nanjing completed. Jiangsu INTERNET network will become the nation’s largest provincial-level Internet access network. After the contract is signed, Jiangsu will introduce network servers, users and information servers installed in the provincial cities as well as a domain name server (provincial post office). After the opening of the Internet will cover all cities and prefectures in Jiangsu, so that all walks of life in Jiangsu into the nearest Internet. US SPRINT company since 1991 and Jiangsu Provincial Post and Telecommunications Authority to cooperate in Jiangsu Province established the first provincial packet switching network. In 1994, E-mail, electronic data exchange and store-and-forward fax communication platforms were established. There are currently more than 5,000 users on this communications platform.
