用尾波振幅衰减规律推算的振动持续时间得到了甘肃地区持续时间震级公式,该公式可用于甘肃地区多台测定震级 M_D,其适用的震级范围和震中距范围都比其它 M_D 公式大,而且精度略高于 M_L;国内外许多个持续时间震级公式的对比表明,无论线性还是二次 M_D—lgt 关系各同类公式中的相应系数都很接近,仅常数项差别较大这种差别包括仪器常数,震中距离,振动终止振幅阀值的选取及地区差等因素的影响,考虑了仪器常数修正,震中距改正,绘出了相应公式,在一定假定条件下,可得到与现有公式一致的结果。
