荸荠白禾螟Scirpophaga xanthopygataSchawerda又名白螟,是荸荠产区的主要害虫。荸荠受此虫为害,造成茎秆枯死荸荠减产。1985～1986年对该虫进行观察,现将结果整理如下。
Water chestnut whitefly Scirpophaga xanthopygataSchawerda also known as white borers, is the main pest in the water chestnut producing areas. Water chestnuts by the pest damage, resulting in dead stem water chestnuts cut production. The worm was observed from 1985 to 1986 and the results are summarized below.
