开平市公安局在“三基”工程建设中,着力抓好治安视频监控系统一期工程建设。治安视频监控在治安防范、打击刑事犯罪活动和维护交通秩序中发挥了很大作用。2007年1月以来,通过视频监控,发现线索157条,破获各种刑事案件59宗、交通肇事逃逸案6宗,抓获各种犯罪嫌疑人79名,打掉各种犯罪团伙5个,抓团伙成员24名。为深入推进平安开平建设,开平市局党委根据上级公安部门“三基”工程建设的部署,着力抓好视频监控系统工程建设。市委常委、政法委书记、市公安局局长范金棠多次召开党委扩大会议,专门研究视频监控系统工程建设的规划。同时积极争取开平市委、市政府的重视和支持,多方面筹集资金,第一期工程投入资金776万元,着力抓好治安视频监控系统工程,在出入开平市10个重要路口设立治安卡口、8个治安复杂区域设立监控点和10个交通复杂路口安装监控装置,并于2007年10月成立了视频监控管理中心加强管理。水口派出所在水口镇党委和镇政府的大力支持下,投资80万元,安装了18个无线视频监控装置。对于预防和打击街面犯罪发挥应有作用,目前,全市歌舞厅,卡拉OK房、酒吧,电子游戏机室共116间娱乐场所的主要通道安装探头62个。 Kaiping Municipal Public Security Bureau in the “three bases ” project construction, focus on security video surveillance system a project.
