This article is based on a survey of 832 members of the Acoustic Neuroma Society Association. Of the 541 patients who completed the response, 175 were men, with an average age of 52 years and 366 women, with an average age of 51 years. 98% of the tumors were acoustic neuromas. Symptoms before treatment: 29% of the respondents replied that the diagnosis was within one year of the first symptom, while 22% of the patients had symptoms more than five years prior to the diagnosis. Unilateral hearing loss was the most common, with 467 cases accounting for 86%, followed by gait instability, 329 cases accounted for 61%, 307 cases with tinnitus accounted for 57%, there are headaches, facial numbness and ear pressure pressure
