美国汽车工程师学会(SAE)主办的第四届国际车辆结构力学(VSM)会议于1981年11月18～20日在美国密西根州底特律市召开。大会开幕式上由美国福特汽车公司(Ford·Motorco)结构分析部监理Andrius A.Butkunas致欢迎词,接着由美国通用汽车公司(GMC)副总经理PaulF.chenea作了题为“汽车工业中研究和发展的前景”的重点发言。对我国的邀请中有我校汽车工程系黄天泽副教授,其论文“对中国式大客车车身损坏现象的理论和实践上的分析”,因作者未能出席会议,而没有宣读,已被刊印于会议论文集中。
The 4th International Conference of Automotive Structural Mechanics (VSM) sponsored by the American Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) was held in Detroit, Michigan, USA on November 18-20, 1981. At the opening ceremony, Andrius A. Butkunas, supervisor of Structural Analysis Division of Ford Motorco, gave a welcoming speech. Then PaulF.chenea, Vice General Manager of General Motors Corporation of America (GMC), gave a speech entitled “Research in the Automotive Industry And prospects for development ”. Among the invitations to our country are Associate Professor Huang Tianze from the Department of Automotive Engineering of our school, whose thesis “Theoretical and Practical Analysis on the Damage of Body Style of Chinese Passenger Car” was not printed because the author failed to attend the meeting and has been printed at the conference Thesis focus.
