Against the backdrop of the global economic crisis triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis in the United States, coupled with the ever-expanding scale of running higher education in our country, the employment situation of college graduates is becoming more and more severe. It has become an indisputable fact that the employment of university graduates has become an indisputable fact. According to the data released by the Ministry of Education, in 2010 the total number of graduates of ordinary colleges and universities in the country reached more than 6.3 million, the employment pressure of college graduates is unprecedented. At this point, more attention should be drawn to the fact that among the more than 6 million university graduates each year, about one-fourth of the graduates are women graduates from higher vocational colleges. Compared with fresh graduates, postgraduates, undergraduates or boys graduating from higher vocational colleges, their groups are in a disadvantageous position in the harsh employment competition in any aspect of employment Sexism is also more common. For this reason, it is necessary to study the issue of gender discrimination encountered by this vulnerable group in employment so as to find a way out for solving the employment problem for female graduates in higher vocational colleges and to a certain extent, it can solve the problem for the government This question provides some references and suggestions. Based on a series of data provided by Mycos China Graduate Employment Research Group in the “2009 Employment Report of Higher Vocational Students in China” published in early 2010, this paper focuses on the analysis of the employment experiences of female graduates in higher vocational colleges The status quo and causes of gender discrimination, and put forward some countermeasures.
