框架语义学属于认知语义学范畴,是认知语言学的一个重要分支。认知语言学主要是关于人类思维的研究,人类思维中的背景知识、经验、记忆等与翻译活动中原文的输入、理解、记忆、转码以及最终产出都有着紧密的联系。背景知识的不同、理解结构的差异导致同一语义激活的是认知主体的不同的认知框架,从而导致翻译结果的迥异,使译文质量大受影响,因此认知语言学对翻译具有明确的指导意义。对框架语义学理论以及框架的正确理解和使用,涉及文学翻译系统的最佳模式产出,所以将框架语义与文学翻译结合起来研究,将会大大促进文学翻译效果。本研究试图通过把翻译实践结合框架语义学对曹禺剧本《雷雨》王佐良英译本《雷雨》的翻译过程进行分析,旨在发现框架语义学对《雷雨》翻译的指导作用。
Frame semantics belongs to the category of cognitive semantics and is an important branch of cognitive linguistics. Cognitive linguistics is mainly about the study of human thinking. The background knowledge, experience, memory, etc. in human thinking are closely linked with the input, comprehension, memory, transcoding and final output of the original text in translation activities. Different from the background knowledge, understanding the difference of the structure leads to the same semantic activation of different cognitive framework of the cognitive subject, resulting in the different translation results, so that the quality of the translation greatly affected, so cognitive linguistics has a clear guidance on translation significance. Correct understanding and application of frame semantics theory and framework involves the best mode output of literary translation system. Therefore, the combination of framework semantics and literary translation will greatly promote the effect of literary translation. This study attempts to analyze the translation process of thunderstorm by combining the translation practice and semantic semantics with the aim of finding the guiding role of framework semantics in the translation of Thunderstorm.
