The first time I met a pumpkin man in the town of Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada, I almost caused a traffic accident. I was driving at night, not familiar with the road. Suddenly, on a glittering meadow, there appeared a group of life-size, pumpkin-headed people who were holding weddings as if I was invited to join them as late as midnight I had to refuse their invitation. The next day, the sun shines, I have a better grasp of the direction, so I revisit it. I found that in addition to the wedding party, there are many elaborate pumpkin scene in the yard around the town. On the lawn of Grant Street Inn, there is a party to celebrate Thanksgiving, where adults and children are crowded together, wearing only the best clothes they wear on Sundays.
