The impact of ammunition packaging reliability on the ammunition storage reliability was analyzed emphatically. It points out some problems that should be solved in carrying out research on the reliability of ammunition packaging. Some new concepts such as ammunition theory and practical storage reliability, sensitivity of ammunition storage quality to packaging quality, and additional damage rate of ammunition have also been proposed. These concepts are further improvements to the theory of ammunition storage reliability.
