横向沟通(lateral communication)是指组织结构中同一层次的部门或人员之间所进行的信息传递和交流。组织内部的横向沟通有三种不同的情形,即:(1)高层管理人员之间的信息沟通;(2)组织内中层各部门的信息沟通;(3)一般员工在工作上、思想上的相互沟通。(摘自《中华护理学辞典》)
Horizontal communication refers to the communication and exchange of information between departments or persons at the same level in an organization’s structure. There are three different types of horizontal communication within an organization, namely: (1) communication of information among top management personnel; (2) communication of information among middle and lower levels of the organization; (3) interaction of general employees at work and ideologically communication.
