利福平对麻风菌有很强的杀菌作用已被动物实验及临床应用证实,由于价格昂贵,疗效并不优于胺苯砜,因此目前尚未被广泛采用。鉴于利福平是力复霉素的一种半合成衍生物。近年来我们先后观察了17种其他力复霉素衍生物对鼠麻风菌感染的疗效,以探求杀菌效果更强的药物,发现异丁基哌嗪力复霉素(R-76-1)的疗效明显超过利福平。即刻治疗与延期治疗的7种治疗方案疗效比较都是R-76-1组明显超过利福平组(表一)。
