自一九九九年以来,我一直在棕坪中学教英语。由于种种原因,我校长期以来,英语教学质量一直处于低谷状态。问题集中表现在:学生语音语调知识掌握不好,拼读能力差、口头表达能力差,基础不够扎实;学生词汇量窄小,单词拼写能力差;英语表达能力差;学生的英语社会文化背景知识贫乏,正确理解和运用能力差;学生对英语学科存在着畏难情绪,缺乏信心,丧失了兴趣。
Since 1999, I have been teaching English at Palm Secondary School. Due to various reasons, our school has long been in a state of low quality of English teaching. The questions focus on: students ’poor knowledge of phonetic transcription, poor spelling ability, poor oral presentation ability, lack of solid foundation; narrow vocabulary of students, poor spelling of words; poor English expression ability; students’ knowledge of English social culture background Poor, correct understanding and poor ability to use; students in English subject to fear, lack of confidence, lost interest.
