桥面铺装指的是为保护桥梁板和分布车轮的集中荷载,用沥青混凝土、水泥混凝土、高分予聚合物等材料铺筑在桥梁板上的保护层。其作用是保护桥梁板防止车轮或履带直接磨耗桥面,保护主梁免受雨水侵蚀,并借以分散车轮的集中荷载。常用的桥面铺装有水泥混凝土,沥青混凝土两种铺装形式。在不设防水层的桥面上,也有采用防水混凝土铺装的。桥面铺装过早破损是桥梁的质量通病之一,是一个技术问题较多,质量缺陷多发的分项工程。由于桥面铺装直接承受车辆荷载的冲击、摩擦,与梁体一起变形,一起受力,在加上气候的影响,施工中若不精心组织,严格控制,势必出现桥面铺装混凝土空鼓、纵横向裂缝、龟裂、脱皮、平整度及标高不达标等可视病害,因此,如何保证桥面铺装层与梁顶面有良好的连(粘)结,并且铺装厚度尽可能满足设计要求是桥面施工控制的关键。
