Tai Chi Master Wang Zongyue said in his book “Taijiquan”: “The Taiji, the Promise, the movement, the mother of yin and yang, the action of the points (open), the static is then combined.” A variety of meanings, among them “the move is open, the static is combined.” That is Tai Chi. This is the concluding remarks on Taijiquan 250 years ago and is the basic guideline for interpreting Taijiquan so far. This argument is a dialectical extension of the meaning of two sentences. That is, the movement and the static are dialectically unified. The extension is the tai chi law. The connotation is the composition and regularity of the substance.
