来自印度的艺术家德卡(Sagar Talekar)先后于中国台南成功大学及台湾师范大学进修艺术硕士与博士,于近期在台湾大象艺术空间馆展出其曼陀罗抽象系列画作,获得关注与回响。曼陀罗(Mandala)一词来自梵文,为“圆形”的意思。在印度教与佛教中,艺术的呈现,经常会使用到曼陀罗的循回造型。曼陀罗的基本造型通常是一个围绕在圆形中心点的多个几何造型
Sagar Talekar, an Indian artist, studied master’s and doctor of arts at Chenggong University in Tainan, China and Taiwan Normal University. Recently, he exhibited his abstract series of mandalas at the Elephant Art Space in Taiwan, gaining attention and repercussions. The word Mandala comes from Sanskrit and means “round”. In Hinduism and Buddhism, the presentation of art often uses the recurrent form of mandalas. The basic styling of a mandala is usually a multiple geometry around the center of the circle
