抗战时期,永安是福建省的临时省会,当时,国民政府党政重要部门均迁入永安,为此引起日本侵略者的注意。从1938年6月省政府及相关部门迁入永安,至1945年12月迁回福州的7年半时间内,日军8次对永安进行轰炸,共有78架次,投弹269枚,造成537人伤亡,1.3万余间房屋损毁,财产损失估计达5980.6万余元。惨绝人寰的轰炸给永安人民带来永抹不去的伤痛。
During the war of resistance against Japan, Yongan was an interim provincial capital of Fujian Province. At that time, important parts of the party government and government of the National Government were all moved to Yongan, which attracted the attention of the Japanese aggressors. From June 1938, the provincial government and relevant departments moved to Yongan. Within 7 and a half years of moving back to Fuzhou in December 1945, the Japanese bombed Yong’an 8 times in a total of 78 sorties, bombing 269 pieces, causing 537 casualties. 1.3 million houses damaged, property damage is estimated at 5980.6 million yuan. The brutal bombing has brought unforgettable pain to the people of Yongan.
