谢灵运生活在儒学逐渐复兴的晋宋之交。他的诗文创作中,不时流露出儒学观念;他的事迹行状中,多体现着儒学人格,主要表现在三个方面:“三不朽”思想与人生追求;礼乐教化思想与施政实践;仁孝忠义思想与儒者情怀。他的放浪形骸、任诞不羁是表面现象,他的儒家思想是深入骨髓间的,儒学人格是他复杂人格的主要方面。 Xie Lingyun lived in the gradual rejuvenation of Confucianism at the turn of Jin and Song Dynasties. His poetry and writing, from time to time reveal the concept of Confucianism; his deeds, many embodies the Confucian personality, mainly in three aspects: “Three Immortals” and the pursuit of life; Ren Xiao loyalty and Confucianism. His unrestrained form of immortality is a superficial phenomenon, his Confucianism is deeply rooted in the marrow, and Confucianism is the main aspect of his complex personality.
