柳环菌是一株即将出林的新“客”。据资料记载,主要分布于我国福建、台湾、云南等省,我省很少见。1982年10月,作者在我省花溪公园河边的柳树上发现该菌,经培养品尝,鲜品不滑、不脆也不绵,几丁质甚少,风味远胜于凤尾菇和美味侧耳;干品作汤或小炒,亦甚鲜美。多次用三角瓶培养,出菇时菇柄都挤满瓶口,丛重30~50克;经少量袋栽试验;首批产菇250克(料湿重1070克)。
