《中学语文教学大纲》(试行草案)规定,中学生要学习一定数量的文言文,要培养学生具有阅读浅易文言文的能力。根据这个总的要求,教材中选编了五十多篇文言文,包括我国古代一些优秀的文学作品,也包括古代一些思想家、政治家、科学家、军事家的传记和他们的论著。所选篇章既力求思想内容积极健康,又力求语言文字简洁通畅。还选入了少量的艺术性强,但思想上有明显消极因素的传统名篇,以利于培养学生批判地对待古代作品的能力。选篇力求多样化,包括传记、游记、笔
The “Outline for Teaching Chinese as a Second Language” (tentative draft) stipulates that middle school students should learn a certain amount of classical Chinese and students should be able to read easy-to-read classical Chinese. According to this general requirement, more than 50 classical Chinese essays were selected from the textbooks, including some excellent ancient Chinese literature, as well as biographies of some ancient thinkers, politicians, scientists and military strategists and their treatises. Selected chapters both seek to be active and healthy in their thinking, and strive to make the language clear and concise.
