刘伯坚,四川平昌县人,曾任中共中央革命军事委员会秘书长,赣南军区政治部主任等职。中央红军撤离根据地时,刘伯坚奉命留守,掩护红军长征,在战斗中负伤被捕,拒绝敌人诱降,壮烈牺牲。依依惜别送战友红军第五次反围剿失败后,中共中央决定撤离江西革命根据地,并增设赣南军区。调刘 Liu Bojian, a native of Pingchang County, Sichuan Province, once served as secretary general of the Revolutionary Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee and director of the political department of the southern military region.
