新中国主流艺术家早中期因为艺术社会功利性的需要,秉持艺术为社会大众服务,为宣传社会主旋律服务的主张,他们大多在其艺术人生的中期就因自己的“左派”文化主张和绘画艺术实践而成为新中国美术阵营中的核心力量。而至晚年,伴随着社会或政治原因及个人内心变化等因素的影响,其中一部分艺术家的艺术发生了方向性的转变。转变后的晚期艺术能为我们提供怎样的信息,我们在艺术家个案研究中如何对待艺术家晚期这段特殊时期,本文以石鲁晚期艺术研究为例,论述了将晚期研究作为艺术家个案研究的一种重要视角及其意义。
In the early and middle stages, because of the need of artistic social utilitarianism, the mainstream Chinese artists advocated the service of the arts for the general public and the service advocated for the main theme of the society.
