Two of the giants of the technology community recently were cut by the double-edged sword of the Internet when they tried to block the troublemakers who had tarnished their reputation. More and more companies are developing towards the Internet. They either want to engage in Internet trading or want to establish their own public image on the Web. However, anyone who wants to conduct business on the Internet or establish a corporate site must be alert to a new kind of electronic harassment - many e-mails circulating on the Internet deceptively claim to belong to a certain company. If you don’t believe it, you can ask America Online and Samsung, the two companies who are the latest victims of deceptive e-mail sent from their company’s servers. Recently, a series of E-mails circulated on the Internet have claimed that AOL developers have discovered a small problem in AOL 4.0, using it to look at the contents of the user’s machine and send them back to AOL. AOL stated that this is a lie, but this news will still spread throughout the network. In the past four months, Samsung has suffered far more harassment than AOL. There are more than 13 kinds of deceptive emails running under the banner of Samsung. Samsung defended himself and stated that those embarrassing E-mails were not made. After the perpetrators tap the keyboard to send out thousands of deceptive E-mails, how can the victim company pick up the mess and how to deal with the masses of the Internet? This is a war that American companies must strive to win. In the past, companies had only dealt with attacks on their reputation with emails and advertisements, but the lies spread through the Internet were much harder to deal with. According to the opinions of public relations experts, the best way to protect the reputation of cyberspace is to establish natural relationships with your customers.
